Terms and Conditions

In the event of a cancellation by the pupil at least 48 hours notice must be given, failure to do so may result in the lesson being charged at the full rate. If the instructor needs to postpone or reschedule the lesson the required 48 hours notice will be given.

 

 

Driving lessons will be conducted on a one to one basis. A record of progress will be kept by the instructor.

 

 

If on the day of your test is cancelled by the DSA due to bad weather sickness or staff shortages the school will charge for test time.

 

 

We reserve the right to change or alter any of the terms and conditions without notice, but will endeavour to inform you of any changes as soon as possible.

 

 

We accept payment by cash or cheque only. Lessons must be paid for either on the day or by advanced block bookings, each block booking course must be completed within 12 months, no refund will be given after this period.

 

 

Any refunds may be subject to an administration charge.

 

 

Any pupil may be refused a driving lesson if the Instructor has reason to believe that the pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and the lesson will still be charged for at the full amount.

 

 

The Instructor may refuse to carry on giving a pupil driving lessons without notice if the Instructor is not satisfied with a pupil's conduct or commitment throughout the lessons.

 

 

If a pupil has entered for a driving test and does not keep up to date with their lessons prior to the test, or if in the opinion of the Instructor the pupil is not safe to proceed with the test, the Instructor reserves the right to refuse the use of the tuition vehicle for the driving test. In which case the Instructor will not be liable for any loss of test fees.

 

 

Pupils must advise their instructor of any medication or prescription drugs they are taking that

may affect their ability to drive safely before taking any lesson booked.

 

 

If a pupil is required to wear glasses or contact lenses whilst driving and he/she fails to wear them on a driving lesson, then the lesson will be cancelled with full charge to the pupil or parents.

 

 

If for any reason the tuition car is classed as unfit to use on test for any reason the instructor will not be liable for any loss of test fees. The instructor and pupil will fully inspect the car the lesson before the test.

 

 

The Pupil will be liable for any traffic offences incurred during a driving lesson or on the driving test.
